I am working with a PXI chassis loaded with various hardware, including DIO, DSO, DMM, RF Mux, relays, and matrix switch. Each time I start to try to develop VIs for one of these cards, I find it is missing software. For example, I downloaded NI-DAQ to be able to use the DIO card and am now downloading NI-SWITCH to be able to use the matrix cards.
Can these software packages be found on the NI Developer Suite DVD? Should they have been pre-installed when the PXI chassis shipped? Each of these packages so far has been > 1GB and download times are extremely long.
