Will VISA have a generic USB driver in a (near) future release?

I am wondering if NI plans to support USB in the same way that PXI is supported, that is, in some (hopefully near) future release I could use the Driver Wizard to build a driver for a custom USB measurement device.

Hello chils,

In the next release of NI-VISA, we do plan on adding support for USB in the manner you have described.
