Windows XP64 with GPIB-USB-HS

Hi.

Im trying to install the drivers for GPIB-USB-HS (an usb connected GPIB interface) on my windows XP64 machine. I have installed the latest driver pack (ni488226.exe). But the windows harware manager says "? USB device". However the MAX can see the device and scan the bus. It even finds my oscilloscope. But when I try to run "GPIB analyser" from MAX it says "Missing card...".

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

The analyzer option is only for '+' type GPIB controllers (i.e. PCI-GPIB+). These cards have additional circuitry for low level monitoring of the GPIB bus. Yours does not have this. If you need to monitor bus traffic, NI-Spy can be used to capture commands and responses. This is usually enough to debug GPIB problems.
