bug on NiViPciK NIVISA-5.0 linux

As the author of several forums on how to install nivisa on linux, I am reporting a bug on the module NiViPciK inside NIVISA-5.0. It fails to detect third party gpib board on the PCI bus.

The installation is on Ubuntu 10.04 (log file provided in the http://decibel.ni.com/content/thread/7491?decorator=print&displayFullThread=true).
