Hi All,
I am trying to develop USBTMC driver for a PIC. Is there any tests (compliance testing) that proves the driver being written is compatible with the USBTMC standard?? Please advice
Thanks

mhark,
I'm not aware of any tests used for compliance testing, but the USB website has the specification document for USBTMC (http://www.usb.org/developers/devclass_docs) which would be helpful if you haven't seen it yet.

Hello Eric,
I did go through the documents on USB website for TMC class. I have the driver working with NI VISA (*IDN? and other commands).
Just was looking around if somebody did compliance testing. Is there any GPIB compliance testing? I would think we could use the same for USBTMC unless I am wrong
Thanks for your inputs and your time

Unlike LXI pulgfest, there is no official compliance test programs specific to USBTMC. However, as like other generic USB devices, I believe official USB compliance workshop or its pulgfest will do the testing. If your device declares USB Logo, it is required to pass the official compliance test. (But I believe most of USBTMC devices do not declare USB Logo.)
