I have a NI PCIe 4065 and am trying to use the DMM softpanel software. I keep getting the error message -1074117853.
The suggestions are upgrade the software or calibration value.
Have tried internal cal won't allow
Have tried several installations of the dm305 302 and 301 software on win7, Vista Business and winXP.
Also have tried 3 different workstations.
All result in the same message.
I do not think I can do anything if its a calibration issue. Even though I actually have calibration references.
Seems there may be some software package required at $$$$ beyond the value of this board.

Hi Paul,
Our driver software for DMMs is free and will not require an upgrade to use your 4065. Given the extensive troubleshooting you have performed, it sounds like the hardware itself is the problem and will need to be returned for repair. The specific error you are seeing could point to a faulty EEPROM on the board which could be returning the incorrect hardware version back to the driver. In any event, RMA will be able to troubleshoot it further and replace any faulty components. You can call 866.ASK.MY.NI for further assistance in returning the device.
