gentec tpm 300

I need to read from a power meter from Gentec, the TPM-300. They don't offer a Labview driver for it so I have to do it myself and I find that the documentation is lacking. I'm trying to communicate through RS-232 from a computer running XP and Labview 8.6. Perhaps this has been solved before? Anyone can offer some help?

NI does not offer any drivers for your device at the moment.

Downloading and installing NI-VISA from www.ni.com/support and using LabVIEW shipping examples may be able to help you to start.
