gpib-enet/100 cannot obtain IP

Hi, 

We bought a new gpib-enet/1000 convertor, however, it cannot obtain ip automatically.

It can be seen the mac addr connected to our Ethernet port, but the status is inactive.

We pressed the CFG Reset switch with about 30sec, and released, the RDY LED keeps on steady red

What's the problem?

Hi emily.lu,

When you say the device cannot obtain an IP address automatically, do you mean to say that your network does not use DHCP? If so, I would expect the PWR/RDY LED to be flashing orange as per the Installing GPIB-ENET/100 Controllers guide.

That said, since the PWR/RDY LED is a steady red, and you've already tried resetting the device, the GPIB-ENET/100 Pinout indicates device has an unrecoverable error and to contact National Instruments Technical Support for further assistance.
