gpib uninstalling measurement and automation program

I am comparing at-gpib card with gpib-usb-a adapter. The measurement and automation program appear to be different for each. I was able to install gpib-usb-a measurement and automation. I was able to uninstall that version so that was using the at-gpib version. Now, I am trying to go back to the gpib-usb-a version. It keeps telling me I have to uninstall current version, which I had already. It is not letting me install the gpib-usb-a measurement and automation software now.

Hello-

The measurement and automation explorer (MAX) has a couple of types of installers. Try uninstalling MAX directly from Add/Remove programs. If the problem persists, would it be possible to send a screen capture of the error and of add/remove programs?
