how to load the 488.1 GPIB handler

hello,

           I'm having trouble getting my 488.1 GPIB board going.  I'm running it in DOS from Windows 95.  The board appears to be configured properly, but there is a recurring error message telling me that there is either no handler installed, or that the handler is corrupted.  I don't have a manual for the board, so I'm stuck at this point.  What's going on?

Hi Eric,

Do you have a make/model for the board?  Is this one of our GPIB boards?  If so, then the driver for the board can be found here:

https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-488-2.html

The latest version of out NI-488.2 driver that supports Windows 95 is version 1.70 (You will need to contact gpibpse@ni.com for this version).  The DOS version is also available at this website.
