how to maintain 1mA constant current in the range of 0-1A

           In labVIEW we want to use only 1mA constant current, but we are having 0-1A range current, from this range how to maintain 1mA constant current.

What device are you using to produce the current? Is it an 3rd party instrument, or is it a PCI-6251?

hai,

      For constant current 1mA purpose we are using PXI 6221,this PXi is connected to scc 2345, and then scc 2345 is connected with Its current output  of J17th pin(scc CO20)

Hello Sujeep,

There is an example VI in LabVIEW that demonstrates how to do constant current output.  To view it, first open the LabVIEW Example Finder by clicking Find Examples on the Help menu in LabVIEW.  When the Example Finder opens, navigate to the following folder: Hardware Input and Output >> DAQmx >> Analog Generation >> Current.  Open the example in this folder called Generate 0-20 mA Current.vi.  On the Physical Channels control on the front panel of this VI, select a channel on your SCC-CO20 module.  You can then select the current value and range you want and then run the VI.

Also, just keep in mind that with future questions about DAQ and Signal Conditioning hardware, the correct board to post to is actually the Multifunction DAQ board.
