how to output a dc voltage based on a measurement

I am new to labview and need to finish a project but I can't find any examples to help out with what I am doing. I am taking in readings from a thermocouple and based on those readings I need to output a dc voltage to a set of pumps. I can't figure out how to output the voltage. I tried to insert some output voltage DAQ Assit but it gave an error about buffers. I found ac voltages but can't find dc voltages.

I am using a NI cDAQ 9172 base and LabView 8.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Assuming the DAQ Assistant for cDAQ is the same as other NI DAQ boards, then the DAQ Assistant just needs to be set for 1 Sample (On Demand) and you can wire a scalar value to the Data input.

p.s. You posted this to the Instrument Control board. You need to post questions about your device to the Multifunciton DAQ board.
