hp3557b

I have recently acquired a LabVIEW program from the previous engineer of my program.  I have his source files that he used to develope the program and when I went to update the program I realized that he is missing a file called hp3557b.  I believe it to be an error report.  I new to labVIEW and trying to familiarize myself with it.

It sounds like it would be an instrument driver for an HP (now Agilent) device but there is no such driver available from Ni and I can't find any reference to 3557B on Agilent's site. If it is an instrument driver, then it would be installed in the user's instr.lib folder. If you still have the original development pc, you can see if it's there. If it is, then copy the entire folder to yours.

Do you have any idea what the program is for? Is it supposed to control one or more instruments? If it is, do you have an equipment list?

yea I also looked at the Agilent site along all over this one.  The LabVIEW program is used for data aquisition and instrument control of a keithley electrometer, HV power supply, Hart thermometer, and a Setra barometer and some Shonka Wycoff Exradin chambers.  I have checked the orgininal computer in the instr.lib files and it is not there.  The Program has been compiled so that it is a stand alone program.  Not exactly sure why it has a hp file but according to the build script it is supposed to be there, also the block diagram has a ? mark where it is supposed to be.
