i am trying to use GPIb to talk to the DC squid controler, so i can get the exact time of the reset of the machine. and i am using labview as my programming language. please let me know if you have any example i can use. thank you.

Have you had an opportunity to look through the instrument driver network (http://zone.ni.com/idnet97.nsf/browse/)? National Instrument has several instrument specific programs available for download. There may be one (or an easily editable one) for the instrument. If you are not able to find one, I might suggest contacting the instrument's vendor.
