is there a kill command for gpib applications?

i currently use the gpib.xla add in alot in excel for programming and gathering information.  however sometimes it ends up in a loop and continuously runs, i can hit 'q' and interrupt the current gpib command, but is there anyway to kill the whole process and leave excel open?  otherwise i lose information in excel that is valuable.  any input is appreciated.  thanks!

I'm not aware of any way of doing this, though others may know who still use Measure.  You may have more success using LabVIEW along with NI-488.2 and the Report Generation Toolkit as that is the current recommended method for Excel interaction.  Sorry that I couldn't be more help.
