labveiw-lecroy 8901

I'v a Turbo Pascal 5.5-gpib-lecroy 8901 crate controller system to stear a stepper motor. I want to change it to a Labveiw-gpib-lecroy 8901 sustem instead. I.g. I want to change from Pascal to Labveiw. Is ths possible? Does Lercroy 8901 support Labveiw? Do I need some special driver. Is there a better/worse gpib card for this? /Peter

Switching to LabVIEW is definately possible. There's an instrument driver for the 8901A on the Instrument Driver Network (http://zone.ni.com/idnet/) that makes programming the instrument easier. There is a list of the current GPIB driver according to OS and card type at http://www.ni.com/support/gpib/versions.htm

The best GPIB card seems to be the PCI-GPIB.
