misleading driver date for niusbtmc.sys

If I look into windows device manager for usbtmc devices, the driver date is  "11.07.2005" which seems to be very old. However the driver version is 4.5.0f0. And if I browse the properties  of the niusbtmc.sys file it tells me in the comments section : 2009/03/04 21:47:38 NisbTmc/win200OK/i386/msvc90/release. That is much more reasonable for 4.5.0f0. Why is there  that difference between the dates ?

I don't know where the difference comes from, as the driver for usbtmc devices is not listed within the device manager on my machine here.

What I can say is that the date you see in the properties page of the niusbtmc.sys-file matches with version 4.5.0f0, so that should be fine.

These files are installed with the NI-VISA driver,you can download the actual version here
