multiple vision acquisition with single camera

i am able to acquire a single image with a usb camera, i wanted to know if there was a way of acquiring 10 images simultaneously

A single image is a single frame and acquiring multiple images simultaneously from a single camera does not make any sense.

p.s. Please post further questions to the machine vision board. I'm sure you will get help there once you clarify what you actually want to do. Provide details on the camera type and the software you are using to capture a stream of images.
