I set up a new i/o server , a Modbus Slave. i have the Address 100, baud rate =19200 and wired up to a serial port from the motor drive's RS485

Communications Interface.  now how to i communicate with it to control the speed?

We also have a number of shipping examples that detail how to use the Modbus I/O Server, that can be found through the NI Example Finder. The example finder can be opened up by going to Help->Find Examples... from LabVIEW, then navigating to Toolkits and Modules->Datalogging and Supervisory Control->I/O Servers
