Hi

I need to use a daq card 1200, with windows xp. So I have installed measurement and automation 2.2, and ni daq 6.9.3.

In measurement and automation interface, I dont see my port COM3 and LPT1, do I need to install NI VISA or something else and if yes which version is necessary. I would like to know if I need to insrtall something else to see my daq card 1200 on the Measurement and automation interface?

Hi

Your DAQ card is not via VISA but via the old NIDAQ driver.
Look in MAX devices/interfaces

Hi

Make sure that you have an uptodate device driver installation.
In you case however keep NIDAQ the old version.

VISA complete should give you the com and lpt ports in MAX
