problems connecting to tektronix TDS620 oscilloscope using GPIB

Dear All,

I´m trying to communicate with a Tektronix TDS620 oscilloscope through a GPIB card.
I downloaded the tktds6xx.zip from NI, and tryed to run the

TKTDS 6XX Initialize.vi
and the
TKTDS 6XX Getting Started.vi
but I get the following error:

code:    -1073807265
source:    VISA Write in TKTDS 6XX Initialize.vi->TKTDS 6XX Getting Started.vi

I do not have (almost) any experience with LabView nor GPIB, and I would be very grateful for any advice.

The error code means no listener detected. The first step in checking GPIB communication is done in MAX (Measurement & Automation Explorer). Assuming you have this on your desk top and are using an NI GPIB controller, you should expand the Devices and Interfaces listing in the confguration window and see your GPIB board listed. Right click on that and select Scan for Instruments. If the scope is setup correctly, it should be listed in the window on the right. There is also the need to configure the instrument. There is a section in the programming manual (download from www.tek.com) called 'Setting Up Remote Communication'. You have to go to the utility menu to select an address. You also have to make sure that the 'Off Bus' option is not selected.

Now its only the acquisition program left to be written.

Bonjour à tous,

voila si quelq'un à une idée qu'il n'hésite pas de me la communiquer ( merci d'avance). en fait  pour  tester la communication entre mon PC et l'oscilloscope( tektronix 5000B) à travers le GPIB, j'ai injecter un signal de 5v à l'oscilloscope et je cherché à lire cette valeur à l'aide de la comande  sur le PC sauf que L'interface GPIB n'arrive pas à communiquer avec l'oscilloscope et m'envoie tjrs un message d'erreur comme quoi le GPIB et malconfiguré.

je signale que cette operation marchait auaravant, mais depuis que j'ai reinstalé le soft de l'oscilloscope, le gpib n'arrive plus à voir mon instrument'oscilloscope).

Si quelqu'un peut m'aider car j'avance plus dans mon boulot.

Quelle version de module de gestion de périphérique de GPIB avez-vous ?
Vous pourriez devoir installer une plus nouvelle version du conducteur.
