"CAN bus"

An exernal power supply (+8 to +25Vdc) is connected to CAN 1 port on 9853 module.  What is the current requirement for this power supply?  

I couldn't find spec in OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS NI 98532-Port, High-Speed CAN Module .pdf.

The product page says 125 mA.

I believve that 125mA is for the 5V draw from the chassis.  I am looking for the current requirement for the 8 to 25 V external power that is connected to the CAN 1 output.

You've made a good point. I'll talk to our R&D team and confirm a current requirement for you.

After checking with R&D, I was able to confirm that 125mA spec holds true for the draw from the chassis as well as for the external power supply.
