"EXECUTE RESET" Agilent Vee command

does anybody know how to interpret "EXECUTE RESET" Agilent Vee command by NI-VISA?

Hi,

I am not familiar enough with Vee to know what the "EXECUTE RESET" command exactly does. I also am not sure how NI-VISA could interpret VEE commands. Can you explain in more detail exactly what you are looking for and what trying to accomplish?

Hi,

we're trying to reset a serial device by NI-VISA and it's become unavailable in 5 sec after viClear command.
Just to compare, we created a simple program in Agilent VEE using "EXECUTE RESET" command and the devece is available in 1.5 sec after its reset. "EXECUTE RESET" command works via SICL IO-library.
