serial data read out interfacing

Hai i'm new in labview programming and try this language in my project. My problem is error for my interfacing with Canberra dual counter 512 as (Error 1073807298 occurred at visa in Basic Serial Write and read with warning suppression). anybody please help me..thanks for your assistant

Hi Zainu,

The same error occured when I used my USB <--> RS-232 converters the first time.

Solution was to add the buffer function (once) after you configure your serial port.

Sorry that was a bit short.  

In the serial interface pallete you will find a 'VISA Set I/O Buffer Size' function.

This function solved my problem writing to my USB <--> RS-232  device

I have anothe r problrm when i want to install my LV 8,2 NI device driver, what should i do..as below

Just what it said. Remove the old ni488 driver by hand, remove it from the controlpanel/add remove programs place
