the continuous sweep mode of Tunics-plus

Hi,

Does anyone ever write a VI to control the Tunic-plus external cavity laser working in a continuous sweep mode? It is a mode which the laser can scan continuously from wavelength1 to wavelength2 at a given speed.

In the manual of Tunics downloaded from the web, there is an instruction for the front panel control, but no information for the remode control (GPIB).

I think that the remote control parameters are start wavelength, stop wavelength, sweep speed, and lanch the sweep scan. Does anyone know the command?

Hi Lu,

First of all, do you have an instrument driver?

To know the command for your laser you should contact the constructor.

The constructor will provide an instrument driver (if possible) and give you the list of commands.

I just found a solution as simple as I could ever imagin.

Set start wavelength, stop wavelength, and speed.

Then, ask the Tunics to go from start wavelength to stop wavelength. It goes in the set speed.
