touch screen FPT-1015 pointer is backwards...Left is Right. However vertical movement is correct

I am using an FPT 1015 touch screen and the pointer is not working properly. Moving the pointer pen across the screen L to R causes the mouse pointer to move R to L.

However up and down work correctly.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Good Afternoon,

Have you tried using a different mouse and checking the response?  Also, try following the instructions here to recalibrate your screen.  Hope this helps!

The manual is more concise

1. ...click the PenMount Monitor pm icon in the menu bar and select Control Panel.
2. When the PenMount Control Panel appears, click Calibrate.

3 Standard Calibration When you click this button, arrows appear pointing to red squares. Use your finger or stylus to touch the red squares in sequence. After you touch the fifth red square, calibration is complete. To skip, press <Esc>. Note To access the Advanced Calibration option, go to the Tools tab and select Advanced
