Hi

That is not the problem (8.0 is ok)

The problem is that you again have to select the corrrect device driver for the ocean optics like described in the html file.

This is needed each time that you run your ocean optics software because that software switches the driver internally.

 

With reconnect I meant reconnect the low level driver. (inf file) 

I'm sorry I was not more clear. Reconnecting the cable is not working here.

You may disconnect and reconnect the cable after switching the driver.

Hi

 

Ok sorry for my lack of knowledge on this material! I am, as you can notice, using labview for the first time.

 

So can you please send me the link you are referring to regarding this inf file and reconnecting etc. AND/OR if you could explain this step by step it would help - keep in mind that I am extremely labview illiterate.

That link is in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\instr.lib\Ocean Optics 2000 4000\VISA_USB\USB4000 direcory

 

and on my mail in this post of 05-08-2013 09:58 PM you find the way to do this.
