want to program an abort button

I want to add an abort button to my gui interface, since i am running test with a network analyzer, and in case anything goes wrong i want to stop the program right there, i know you can do it with the stop button on top, but i want to add an abbort button that will act as the stop button, since at the end people who don't use labview are the ones who are going to be using it.

Hi Marco,

LabVIEW has a VI called Stop, which is located in the Application Control pallette. The help for this VI actually mentions that it will stop the VI just like the abort button.

You can have a button that controls the execution of this VI.
