xbee UART

Hey guys everyone here has been so helpful!

One last question though.  I have an Xbee(which will be connected to the myrio through UART) and i'm wondering how I would program it to send out out data from another sensors connected to my myrio. 

The receiving Xbee be using XCTU software so i'm not worried about that.  Just the programing of the one sending out.  Does anyone know where I can find help or any advice to be offered?

Hi Caleb,

To get a better response, I suggest you try posting this on the Academic Hardware Products forum. These contain discussions related to the myRIO.

In addition, add the specific Xbee device as well as which part of it you need help with. Do you just need to know how the myRIO programming for UART is done? In general, there are express VI’s you can use for the UARTs but you should reference the Xbee manuals as they might provide a specific command list, or format, for the data. There is at least one example (and tutorials) found in the NI myRIO Project Essentials Guide.
