Who is presenting at NI Week?

Our next meeting is scheduled for July 25th. I was thinking this might be a good opportunity for those of you who got accepted to present at NI Week to do a dry run of your presentation.

If you have any other ideas for topics or presentations you would like to see on July 25th, please let us know.

Regards,

Fab

Dave Snyder (Daklu) and I are presenting "What a Software Architect Needs to Know Before Using the Actor Framework". I'd love to do a dry run with the group, though we'll have to figure out whether Dave's available that evening and how to get him presenting remotely.

David,

This would be great, we have had in the past requests for remote presenters, so we could try it out. The advantage here is that if we have technical difficulties you could still carry on, correct?

Please ask Dave, we would love to have him. He only needs to connect via join.me and we will have to make sure we have a good set of speakers so everybody in the room can hear him.

I am assuming you would need 45 minutes, correct?

Thanks,

Fab

Sessions are 50 minutes, if I'm not mistaken. Since it's a dry run, I think it makes sense to set aside a full hour so we can either run over (accidentally) or hold a short discussion and feedback session afterward.

I would love to attend this presentation/discussion. (Thinking aloud: agree with David that it will be hard to cap at 45-50min since it's a topic that's interesting/relevant generally to CLAs.)

I would also love to hear this presentation if there is a way to attend remotely.

We always have join.me either sponsored by Sixclear or by Wirebirdlabs

Keep your eyes open for when the meeting invitation goes out and you will see the sign up information.

Thanks,

Fab

As soon as I get the remote connection details I will let you know.

BTW, we don't have a sponsor for food yet, so if you or someone you know is interested in feeding a bunch of smart Advanced LabVIEW users, please let me know
