Biography:
I hold a B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad De La Salle Bajio (Mexico) and an MBA from Tecnologico de Monterrey. I met LabVIEW in college during my 3rd semester and I got amazed how fast someone could write a DAQ application compared to C. Since then LabVIEW became my favorite tool. After graduation in 2008, I started working as an Embedded Software Engineer for Texas Instruments which moved me away from LabVIEW but allowed me to learn software development processes. After that, I jumped into the automotive industry in 2011 and started to use LabVIEW in automated test equipment (ATE). I also had the opportunity to work at NI Mexico which allowed me to deepen my knowledge with NI platforms, toolchain and help customers to become proficient with NI tools.
One of the NI Alliance Partners in the auto industry brought me to the Metro Detroit area in Nov 2015, since then, LabVIEW has allowed me to connect with great people and has become one of my main platforms for automated test, application development and system integration. I currently work as a Sr Staff Engineer for Automated Test Equipment at Continental Automotive.
