Modulation Toolkit not found in Speedy-33

HI,

I am facing a very basic problem in using LabVIEW's modulation and advance toolkits in Speedy 33.  When I open Speedy 33 environment, I am unable to find modulation toolkit on it although this toolkit is available in normal LabVIEW environment. What can be the problem and how to use these toolkits in Speedy 33 environment. Or do we have modulation toolkit available in Speedy-33?

Hello,

What "environment" are you talking about? Are you referring to the DSP module within LabVIEW? Also, in LabVIEW, is the modulation toolkit present in the Measurement I/O palette? 

What is it that you are going to use the modulation toolkit for with the Speedy 33? It seems to me that since you are using the Speedy 33 to generate/acquire real signals it would not make sense to use it in conjunction with the modulation toolkit.

1)i hav labview 8.6 evaluation version. i hav installed advance signal proccessing toolkit and modulation toolkit. it works best in labview IVs.

but in speedy-33 IVs i cant see these toolkits any where . plz tell me how i can use these toolkits. i want to implement the Quadrature amplitude modulation using NI speedy-33.

2) second question is that can i use antennas instead of microphone (analogue input ) and speaker (analog output ) for transmitting and reiceveing data in speedy-33

Hi,

Unfortunately the Modulation Toolkit is not a supported method of programming the Speedy 33 and for this reason is not available in your target VI.

Also, using an antenna is another use for the Speedy 33 that is not supported and not intended. I would not suggest trying this, but this does not mean that you cannot try it. Just understand that if you do, and something goes wrong, you are liable for any resulting problems.

qam modulation technique).
i have completed the software site and successfully implemented in the
labview 8.6.
i have speedy-33 dsp board but my code cant implement in Speedy-33

plz send me the information of such DSP Boards in which i can
implement transceiver (discrete waveletts transform and Qam Modulation ) including price and other essentials datasheet
and manuals
i am waiting for ur response as soon as possible

I would take a look at the PXIe-5641R RIO IF Transciever. This sounds like it would fit what you're trying to do. Otherwise, depending on what frequency you're looking to generate/receive, you could look into some of our RF hardware or you could simply use the Modulation toolkit and use one of our arbitrary waveform generators and one of our high speed digitizers.
