QUICK syntax question regarding vector multiplication

hi, i'm sorry to bother you about this, but i can't find it on LabView Help.  i am trying to multiply a 1-D array by a constant, and when i create a constant on the other input of the multiplication sign, i get an interesting constant sign, and i have no idea how to use it.  there are two boxes; the right one is greyed and apparently unusable.  i put the constant i wanted to use in the left one, but the output array with that setup was empty.  what should i do??  thank you so much for your help!

Hi Noah,

What version of LabVIEW do you have? I am thinking the constant sign you are are seeing is an Array Constant. You can actually just put a numeric constant on the blockdiagram and wire that to the mult function.
