VISA read also reads carriage return

Hello,

I am using visa-read block to read some RS-232 connection.

whenever i send a message through VISA-WRITE, i read back the "Carriage-return"

for example, i send:

<some command>

i recieve:

;<some respond>;

if i send out several lines i get the same number of <CR> in return. i cant get rid of it.

could you help.

Hi moranEng,

This sounds like expected behavior to me for our VISA-WRITE and VISA-READ VIs. 

Can you explain what problems this is currently causing by reading the carriage-return as well?
