Hi

I am trying to create an unix console appliacations in LV 8.2 using cygwin 1.5.1. However when i am trying to build the applications it is giving the following error.

"Failed to build executable!
Error code: 7
Error source:
File/Directory Info in Emb_Utility_AppUpdate.vi->LEP_unix_ScriptBt.vi->LEP_unix_Build.vi->LEP_unix_Build.vi.ProxyCaller"

Can anybody help me to solve this problem?????/

Hi,

A few things to check in your Cygwin installation:

• Did you select Dos/text for the "Default Text File Type" when installing Cygwin? If not, you need to do so.
• Did you add the Cygwin bin path to your Path environment variable in Windows? If not, you need to do so.

Its working now. Actually I had not changed the path of the PATH enviromental variable.
