It would be good if you could minimise sections of labview code to give you more working space on the screen. They have this with some text editors, and it would be nice to see it with labview.
While some will undoubtedly reply by saying you should create a sub-VI I have to say that creating a subVI is not always the best way of doing this.
When working with Control References for example, creating sub-VIs can be an ugly process.
I would also like the ability to minimise certain parts of the code but I also appreciate that re-organisation of the code may be very difficult.
I would therefore propose being able to minimise in one dimension only (along the X-axis for example) so that the need to re-arrange code items is no longer such a problem. We simply squash the code in one dimension.
Yes. This would be great. For example you could do something like have a minimise and expand button for things like case statements and while loops etc.
