I would like to see a property known as "group" and property known as "group name" to assign a stacking order for controls and indicators that overlap each other. In the application I'm working on at present, they have multiple indicators and controls that are built into a cluster of arrays, indicators, controls, etc. Many of the indicators overlap or stack on top of each other as their visible and disable property nodes are turned on and off in the code. That being said, I propose a number of new properties:

1) create group name - property where each control, indicator and other front panel items are assigned a number or letter

2) assign to group - this property would allow the user to assign the particular control/indicator/array/tab... into the group name property just created.

3) sort group index - this property would act as a subset of the group name and allow the user to order the tabs on the front panel if needed

4) visible group index number - this property would allow the user to turn on and off a specific item in the group (similar to hide indicator or hide control) but this would be part of the group property subsettings.

5) visible group name - this property would allow the entire group to be shown visible and not visible in one shot.

6) disable group name - this property would allow the entire group to be disabled in one shot.

There are probably more ideas like color, tab control, key assignments, etc.
