Default Browse button on File Path control

Status: New

When i create a file path control in say a read image.vi I have to manually right click and select view "Browse button". It will be helpful if this is made as a default thing.

And I have indeed modified the subvi to show me the browse button but tweaking with subvi for whatever reason isnt actually ok for me personally.

Maybe I should have clearly mentioned "NI SUBVI"

In LV2012, some of the VIs in vi.lib are being modified to show the Browse button on path controls, so when you create a control from those terminals, you will get the Browse button. No, not all the VIs in vi.lib -- different groups own the functions in vi.lib, and each group has its own priorities when it comes to choosing what to work on. But the VIs that were highlighted here as a priority -- the graphics file VIs and the spreadsheet VIs -- should all be among the VIs fixed up.

Since it is not all VIs, I am not asking that this idea be marked as In Beta. I'll continue to push for other VIs to be fixed up. Maybe someday we'll get them all.
