Digit grouping for Numerics

The title says it all, but in case what I am begging for is not clear, I have revived this long sought basic LabVIEW feature in this thread.

In a nutshell:

enough of this:  !!!

Allow us (and most importantly, our users) to format numerics such that this reads like that: 3,649,872 (or 3 649 872, or 3' 649' 872, or whatever).

There are plenty of objections and suggestions (all rejected by me) in the linked thread.

Couldn't find it, thanks. I would have been surprised it had not been suggested before. Hopefully that will reactivate interest and support for this suggestion.
