Display the connectors of blocks in the function pallet with info without using help

Status: Declined

Any idea that has not received any kudos within a year after posting will be automatically declined.

Add to the icon of each block in the function pallet the color of its connectors and some data on their type when we hover on them so we won't have to open the help to see if we need that block.

You already get this information if you hover over the palette with Context Help turned on.

I want to see it without the context help turned on : )

Why?  The purpose of context help is to show you greater detail of your functions and wires and datatypes without taking up too much screen space that a full help system would take.

Right, however, the context help takes up screen space and requires just the simple action of pressing ctrl-h while the small colored dots of the blocks is small enough to be displayed by default on the function pallet.

There is no reason why not to display it.
