Enable Run-Time shortcut menu in a disabled control

I suggest the possibility to enable the run time shortcut menu in a disabled control. E.g. if you don't want to highlight rows in a multicolumn listbox but want the opportunity to show the shortcut menu. Sometimes it can be useful to right-click and copy/save a text in a control without the highlighting or marking.

You can of course work around it with some coding, but I think the enable/disable control option and the enable/disable shortcut menu option should be independent!

I have tried to illustrate my suggestion. Please have a look at the attached vi.

Why not just make your multicolumn listbox be an indicator instead of a control? That gives you a runtime popup menu without being able to do selections.
