Have the create dialog box be first on the list when you right click something

This is just a simple workflow suggestion to slightly speed up programming.  When you right click on something to create a constant or an indicator, etc...it would be nice if that box appeared right next to the mouse at the top of the list because it is the most used item.  the visible items and help button,etc... rarely get clicked in comparison.  Its a small time saver but over an entire program it could add up.

There was an alternate idea suggested: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Double-click-creation-of-Constant-Control-Indicator/id...

There was also this: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Create-constants-controls-and-indicators-without-right..., though I'm not even sure if that's an idea or not, since it seems to be more of a tool.

I don't know if the "create constant/control/indicator" menu is really the most used right-click menu item (I don't think it is!), and in cosideration for all the long-time programmers, it might be confusing to rearrange these menus significantly.

Maybe something more intelligent would be preferable! How about if the menu order remains the same but LabVIEW would keep a history of the last-used menu item (one history for FP, one for BD or e.g. one for each type of control) and whenever you right-click again, the menu is already shifted up such that the last used menu item is already aligned at the height of the current cursor?

(This is just a variation of the idea. There might be some corrections needed. For example, whenever we are close to the edge of the monitor, **bleep** would need to adapt to keep things in view.)

You know that if this were done we'd start seeing a bunch of posts about a bug in LabVIEW that menus get moved around, and don't show up where they're supposed to, right? Smiley Wink
