Internet toolkit for 64-bit version of LabVIEW

Status: New

We need a 64-bit version of the Internet Toolkit, which we plan to use on our new product. Are there any plans to make it? It seems that it should not be that difficult to recompile the current 32-bit version for 64 bit.

How often would you use 64-bit Internet Toolkit over just the 32-bit? I personally don't see many customers developing on 64-bit systems but I know that they are on the rise and I am always curious as to the reasons why people choose 64-bit over 32-bit.

We have not been using the Internet Toolkit at all until recently. We are planning to use as one of the software components that will run on Embedded Windows 64 bit; this will be a part of the product we are currently developing.

I for one am using 64 bit Labview and I have to do it to support a new camera I have that only has a dll library in 64 bit version.  Please convert the Internet toolkit to 64 bit ASAP.  I have a pressing need for it.  I need my program to be able to FTP stuff.  That is how I did it when it was 32 bit.  Labview has been in 64 bit versions since 2009.  It is now 2011.  It is time to move this and all toolkits to the 64 bit mode.

I'll second the above post.  We would love to use labview 64.  As is, our imaging application is severely constrained by 32 bit memory but uses TELNET and FTP to communicate with several peripheral imaging devices.  We're anxiously awaiting a 64-bit version of INTERNET TOOLKIT.
