Insert a LAYER property in all controls and decoratons if (possible) to enable changes in all objects in same layer with only one call.
Please elaborate on this more. What kinds of changes are you looking to do in one call? What do you mean exactly by "one call"?
Every control and decoration (or almost) must have a layer number;
One SUBVI or PROPERTY node must be able to process following actions:
Selected layer must be a range of layer by example ( 5 to 10) or (100 and above) etc..
Decorations (including pictures pasted on front panel) must have a layer property to.
