Master Tab Page

Add a Master Tab Page for those controls / Indicators that need to be accessible from all Tabs.  We could designate a place - say across the top or along the Right - where all Master controls / Indicators would reside. Also a good place to put Company or project logos.  The master tab should be defaulted to Transparent to inherit the other Tab colors.

You mean, kindof like a "Slide Master", a template for every tab? I might like this idea. Does it show up as a tab in run-mode, or does it only show up in edit mode?

This would eliminate the main reason I suggested the idea about removing shadows from floating objects (which to date has received a whopping 0 Kudos!).

Exactly like a Slide Master!  I see it showing up in edit as well as run mode.  Of course we need a property node to control this pragmatically during run mode.

Why not just make your tab control a little shorter and place your Master controls above the top or below the bottom on the 'generic' FP?  They are then accessible no matter what tab you are on.

That is a work around but the Master page will give a more professional apearance
