I am always trying to fit more onto the screen. One method I use is making the tabs transparent and putting a decoration behind the tab selectors. This works OK, but it would be nice if the tab controls themselves had more options. Such as:
- Ability to set the color of the the tab page selector differently than the main tab control. Maybe also a different color option if tab is selected. (simulate a button)
- Ability to have the tabs on the side with text horizontally.
- Better ways to insert graphics in tabs.
- Have top and side tabs on at the same time.
The nice thing about using the tabs themselves as the buttons is you can flip through them when the program is not running for debugging. Basically a easy way to create more elaborate displays without much code.
