Option to change default Block diagram window scrolling to left/right(horizontal)?

Since LabVIEW coding must be a left to right allignment to look clean/understanding and maintian the dataflow, It would be better if we have the default scroll to be activated from left to right (horizontal).

In current versions, we have to roll over the mouse to horizontal scrollbar to scroll left/right. but by default, scrolling anywhere scrolls it vertically. 

Perhaps we can have an option to enable the scroll to vertical or horizontal?

The scrolling model that LabVIEW uses is the same as most other applications, so I'd be hesitant to change it lest it become unintuative.  I'd prefer something where a key modified the scrolling bahaviour - eg: scroll wheel by itself scrolls vertically, but scroll wheel while holding down ctrl scrolls horizontally.

scroll + ctrl is already beginning to be used for zooming. scroll + shift is beginning to show up for horizontal scrolling.

Might be strange for the block diagram to default to horizontal scolling and the front panel to default to vertical scrolling, and I definitely think the FP should stay with vertical scrolling since that would be the experience when the VI is running (and thus, that would be the experience of end users who are using apps written with LV). Would you be ok with the panel having one scroll behavior and the diagram having a different behavior? I think most people would not like that, even if horiz. is what you usually want on the diagram.

I'd give Kudos to the idea of Shift+scroll for horizontal scrolling - that makes more sense than changing the default.

For those who aren't aware, you can ctrl+shift drag (on a blank spot) to move the front panel and block diagrams

What I meant was to include an option in Tools>>Option to select the default scrolling to be horizontal or vertical.
