Palette Multiple Function-Block Selection

Status: Declined

Any idea that has not received any kudos within a year after posting will be automatically declined. 

I think it would be easier and faster to program if we could select multiple function blocks. For example, in the picture, yo could select the Error In, Error Out and the Cluster at the same time and drag it to Block Diagram. It would be great! Cat Very Happy Smiley Happy

Yes thank you! It is similar but I mean it in general and not only Error blocks Smiley Happy

One solution would add ctrl-click and shift-click  with their conventional meaning to allow multiple selections inside the palette.(You would still be limited to a single sub palette so I really don't see the need.) 

 

Whenever I need to place several items from a sub-palette, I press the pin in the upper left, then quickly drag several items in sequence to the block diagram. Seems to be sufficiently efficient for my use. 😉
