Provide Font Style ShortCut on Front Panel

Status: Declined

Any idea that has received less than 5 kudos within 5 years after posting will be automatically declined.

HI

Font Style shortcuts should be provided on front panel.

User can change the font style of labels/comments.

Font style like Bold, Italic, Underline, StrikeOut and should also support shortcut commands to increase/decrease the size of label/comment.

Regards

Santosh

As for this request:

The shortcut keys you ask for are already taken for things. Ctrl+I is VI properties. Ctrl+B and U only affect the block diagram, but  they can be used from the FP and since you can do font work on the BD as well, it wouldn't make sense to have the short cuts work on one window and not the other.

Now, it would make sense for those keys to work while  you actually have focus on a particular piece of text. That request has been made elsewhere in the Idea Exchange.

Sorry for that above comment (increase/decrease size of the label/comments), shortcut is available for this.

Actually I am looking for some shorcuts for making the labels bold, italic etc

Thank You
