Sorry if this was already mentioned, but I'm a newcomer to LabView and I really feel we could use a better way to select objects, both in the front panel and in the Block Diagram.
For example, in Autocad you can use a drag-select box from left-to-right to select only objects that are entirely inside the box, and right to left to select objects that have any part inside the box.
I'll stay away from other controversial arguments, like a zoom in option or using word editing shortcuts like CTRL+B for bold in the text labels.
